Milan: Conte keeps door open on Fabregas move

Speaking at his press-conference ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Everton, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte kept the door open on a possible January move to Milan for Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Italian tactician stated that; “I’ve heard all the reports about a move in January but we are only in November and we must concentrate on the present, not the future”. He then added that; “It’s too early to talk about the transfer window, Cesc is one of our players and I’m happy to still have him in the team. The important thing is for him to return to his best form”.

The 30-year-old Spaniard has made no secret of his unhappiness at spending a considerable part of this season on the substitute’s bench. Milan have been heavily linked with a January move and the player has also been spotted house hunting on Lake Como, a popular living area for players of both the rossoneri and Inter.
