Juventus: Khedira considering move to the MLS

According to reports in Tuttosport, Juve’s German midfielder Sami Khedira is tempted to continue his career in the MLS. The journal states that the 29-year-old has already received some attractive offers but it’s also claimed that bianconeri boss Massimo Allegri is desperate to keep the player in Turin at the end of the current campaign.

Khedira signed a four-year-deal in the summer of 2015 after arriving on a free-transfer from Real Madrid and despite some early setbacks due to a series of debilitating injury, the German has been key this season in the absence of Claudio Marchisio.
The Turin based newspaper also writes that Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner could be inserted into Allegri’s Champions League squad for the knock-out phase of the competition which starts in February next year.

The 32-year-old is out of contract in the summer but there is a clause that stares that it can be extended by a further 12 months if the bianconeri decides to keep hold of the player who arrived at the club in 2011.
