Juventus '34 Scudetti' insignia to be covered up for Spain friendly

Juventus’ ongoing refusal to come to terms with Calciopoli has seen them clash with the Italian Federation again… this time because of an international game!

With the Bianconeri’s J Stadium set to be the scene of Italy’s qualifier against Spain, the Old Lady’s insistence on claiming that she has won 34 Scudetti will come under fire again, as the Italian football federation (the FIGC) will cover up the ‘34’ insignia above the entrance tunnels, so as to avoid any embarassment.

Juventus still maintain that they won the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 Serie A titles, despite the scandal which saw them relegated to Serie B over matchfixing charges. The latter Scudetto was handed over to Inter.
