Juventus to sign Witsel in January – report

Accordintgo to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Juventus will sign Axel Witsel in the winter transfer window as the last Champions League clash against Sevilla suggested that the Old Lady needs to add depth and quality to her midfield.

The Belgium International’s Juventus move collapsed in the deadline day of the summer transfer window and Juventus’ CEO Beppe Marotta was thought to be planning to bring the former Benfica to the J Stadium in summer 2017 when Witsel’s Zenit contract expires.

The Italian paper, however, claims that Witsel will be brought to the club in January as Allegri needs to have more choices in midfield.
