Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has been speaking to Funke Sport about his first year with Roma. He explained that; "It's been a good season despite not qualifying directly for the Champions League. Overall I would say it's been positive". He surprised everyone when he was asked who his most difficult opponent had been during the campaign, he replied; "Italian players are very strong physically, I think the hardest opponent I faced was Pavoletti of Genoa, he will not be known by many people in Germany but he's a name worth remembering. After him I would say Higuain, Kalinic and Bacca; the stars of Serie A.

JUVE LIKE BAYERN
Rudiger continued by stating that; "Italy is now realising that it's no longer the strongest league in Europe. This is because of bad organisation off the field and poor performances in Europe. Juventus has become a sort of Bayern Munich of Serie A, always dominating".
