Top Serie A defender not extending expiring contract, says agent
His current deal with Fiorentina expires at the end of the season, but the player’s agent has informed Radio Blu that negotiations for a contract extension have led nowhere.
“Fiorentina made no step forwards when we met them last week. Gonzalo is not going to extend his contract under these conditions. Gonzalo can leave Fiorentina now and we are going to listen to all offers, although Fiorenina are a priority for my client.”
“He hasn’t requested one more euro than what he’s already earning, but Fiorentina are not rewarding him for what he’s been doing for the club over the last few seasons. It’s not an easy moment. I have to return to Argentina now and I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future.”
