Which future is Stevan Jovetic heading towards?

Former Manchester City star Stevan Jovetic has been struggling to live up to his potential in the current campaign having only scored 5 goals in 21 games in all competitions.

The Montenegro International moved to Inter on a two-year loan from Manchester City last summer, but a clause on his contract force the Serie A giants to make the player’s transfer permanent for a fee of € 14.5 million by December 2016.

Jovetic’s next appearance in Serie A would automatically activate the clause, otherwise Inter will have to pay his price-tag by the end of December 2016, unless they will be sitting in any of the last three spots of the table at the end of the year. That would be even a higher price to pay.

Which future is Stevan Jovetic heading towards?

The 26-year-old striker is not part of Inter’s future and the Nerazzurri have already met Manchester City’s representatives to negotiate a lower price-tag. At the same time, the Serie A giants are also looking for potential suitors willing to buy Jovetic for the same amount of money.

Something similar to what they did last summer with Xherdan Shaqiri and Stoke City.

According to Sporx.com, however, Fenerbache could solve Inter’s problem as the Turkish giants are rumoured to have secretly met Manchester City, asking information about the former Fiorentina starlet.

The Super Lig’s defending champions would offer € 15 million to seal Jovetic’s transfer
