Paper Talk: Napoli line up Drogba as possible replacement for Milik, Juve promote youngster to senior team
Napoli ace Arkadiusz Milik picked up a knee injury last week which could sideline him for 6-8 months. The partenopei have denied that they are looking for a short term replacement for the Polish strikers, but many free agents still available in the market could become a good solution for Maurizio Sarri, at least to add depth to the attacking department.
​According to sport.es Didier Drogba is one of the most serious candidates for the role. The Ivorian star’s contract with Montreal Impact runs until the 31st of December and he could join the San Paolo outfit as a free agent from January 2017.
Davi Osvaldo, Miro Close and Emmanuel Adebayor have also been linked with becoming the back-up to the unlucky Polish striker.
​Meantime in Serie A, table leaders Juventus are going to promote thei 16-year-old star Moises Kean to senior level.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the highly-rated striker will get his first senior call-up next week-end when Juventus will face Udinese and the product of the club’s academy will be sitting on the bench of a senior squad for the first time in his career.
​Kean is considered one of the best products of Juventus academy. His agent Mino Raiola is negotiating with Juventus the player’s first pro contract. Kean has five goals in as much appearances with Juventus primavera team.
