Insigne: Higuain is the best striker in the world
Talking to Repubblica and Mediaset, the 24-year-old winger expressed his appreciation for his fellow striker partner Gonzalo Higuain who has already plundered 14 goals in 17 seasonal games.
“He is the best striker in the world right now”, the product of Napoli Academy said.
“Stats are proving that he is the strongest striker out there, but all the team is helping both me and him to score goals.”
Insigne was also asked whether he believes in Napoli Serie A glory or not.
“It's still too early to talk about it.”
“We have to keep ourselves down to earth and play game by game. We need to be focused on matches rather than on the league table.”
“Sitting first in Serie A has to give us a further boost, not the contrary. We want to remain at the top for as long as possible.”
