    ALMOST DONE: Ezequiel Lavezzi snubs Inter to join Shanghai Shenhua

    Ezequiel Lavezzi will be the next player to join the Chinese Super League, after that Fredy Guarin, Gervinho, Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Alex Teixieira completed their transfers to the Far East this past January.

    As L’Equipe reports, the Argentinean star has not been called for tomorrow’s PSG game against Marseille. As we previously reported, Lavezzi, 30, had been offered €10 million a year to join Shanghai Shenhua, the same club that signed Fredy Guarin in January.

    According to the French press, PSG are on the brink of agreeing an offer in the region of €10 million to allow the player’s departure as the Chinese winter transfer market shuts on February 26.

    Lavezzi is expected to join Shanghai Shenhua much earlier than that.
