CM EXCLUSIVE: Everton keen on Neto

Last summer, Juventus were ready to let their goalkeeper Norberto Murara Neto leave, but only at certain conditions: a two-year-loan –with the entire salary paid by the player’s new team- or €10 million; nobody made certain offers, so the 27-year-old remained in Turin, with the prospective of being Buffon’s backup for another season or two.
The problem is that the bianconeri are now seeking Buffon’s heir, and their Chief Executive Giuseppe Marotta stated that the Brazilian can’t be considered a candidate: for this reason, the former Fiorentina man could be again for sale during the next transfer window, and Everton are attentively observing the situation.
In any case, the Serie A defending champions have no intention to make discounts for Neto, and to replace him, they are thinking about Federico Marchetti and Marco Sportiello.
