Everton are, according to the Corriere dello Sport, in the market for Juventus reserve goalkeeper Neto.

Formerly a highly-rated shotstopper at Fiorentina, the Brazilian had forced through a very unpopular free transfer to rivals Juventus, hoping to one day pick up Gigi Buffon’s mantle.

Instead, Beppe Marotta’s recent talk of looking for a successor have angered the Brazilian, who ended up on a recent list of ours of Bianconeri malcontents

That said, the Old Lady doesn’t want to give him away, and doesn't seem to be for turning, either.  As much as the Bianconeri like young Indonesian Emil Audero, he's still only 19, and wouldn't guarantee the maturity that someone like Neto can bring to the table.
