EXCLUSIVE Milan tempted by Iturbe... but not for his €18m pricetag

It's been a torrid two seasons for Juan Manuel Iturbe. A complete flop at Bournemouth and a major disappointment with Roma, who paid a hefty €30 million to secure his services, the Argentine talent is now worth as little as €17-18 for the Lupa, who would consider that price acceptable for an eventual transfer.

Our sources also tell us that AC Milan are very interested in the 24-year-old... but not enough to pay that kind of money outright for him. Seeing as they enjoy such a good relationship with director of sport Walter Sabatini (who may leave Roma), they're thinking of trying to sneak in a buyback clause into the bargain, to give the yougster a chance to show that he's worth the investment. Then again, Roma already tried that with Bournemouth, and there's no way the Premier League survivors will cough up €22-23 million for him now.

Beyond the EPL club, Real Betis, Espanyol and Malaga are all lining up for Iturbe. But they only want a loan deal, too, just like Genoa asked for last year.
