Inter should regret selling Marco Benassi to Torino, here’s why
Inter decided to sell him in a player-swap deal to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio who is not exactly in the form of his life since arriving at the San Siro in 2014.
Benassi has collected five appearances in Serie A so far scoring one goal and registering one assist. Benassi has the 86% of passes right. The product of Inter academy has created five goal chances so far and has yet to lose one challenge in Serie A games this term having won all the 12 duels he has been involved into.
He can still improve in terms of aerial challenges, but there is no doubt that the promising Italian midfielder has yet plenty of room to improve.
Inter invested € 45 million to sign Joao Mario but are without a decent replacement for the Porgtuguese ace, especially considering Marcelo Brozovic’s issues at the moment.
The nerazzurri should regret selling him to Torino as they should have not given Alfred Duncan away. The two starlets are shining with Torino and Sassuolo, but Inter should have kept at least one of them.
