    Inter striker Icardi: I want to follow Zanetti's path

    As previously reported, the Argentine striker Mauro Icardi could leave Inter Milan if the nerazzurri won’t qualify for the next Champions League and continue his career in Spain or England: the 23-year-old –evaluated €40 million- is in fact a target for both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
     
    However, on his Twitter account, the former Sampdoria man has anticipated part of the declarations released to Inter Channel: “Becoming a legend like Zanetti? I have the chance to be the captain, and everybody would like to follow his path. I want to stay and win with this jersey. I am the captain and I want to do great things here”
     
    Moreover, the Argentina international is not even thinking about renouncing to a Champions League placement: “Now, we must focus on the third place. The game against Juventus? We have to do our best. We always get on the pitch to win, we must have the right mentality”.
