Juve and Spurs target Vazquez worth 'at least €25 million'

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has thrown Juventus a knuckleball by declaring that star midfielder Franco Vazquez will cost and eye and an ear.

"How much is he worth? At least 25 million". Zamparini told assembled media on Monday.

Vazquez was also linked to a number of Premier League clubs (mainly Tottenham and Southampton) during the summer before Zamparini stonewalled any talk of a move.

The 26-year-old netted an impressive 10 goals last season, contributing as many assists in 2014-2015, before adding four more key passes in seven games during the present campaign.

These comments come in light of Sassuolo president Giorgio Squinzi's assertions that
Domenico Berardi would cost Juventus 25 million, when it was speculated last summer that 16-18 million could do the trick.

It wouldn't be ridiculous to assert that Italy's smaller clubs are trying to milk the Bianconeri following their spending spree, not to mention those of big clubs such as Internazionale and Milan.

The Palermo president also hinted that El Mudo's increased price was tied to his increased importance in the squad, ever since star striker Paulo Dybala moved to Juventus in the summer. Zamparini may even have hinted that it'll spike if Vazquez keeps delivering despite the increased pressure.

"Vazquez is an extraordinary player, but he needs his team-mates to help him, because he'll carry all the responsability on his shoulders this season".
