PAPER TALK: Juve back in for Mascherano; Bacca frozen out at Milan after West Ham refusal
Juventus are reportedly returning to the idea of making an assault on Barcelona’s combative midfielder Javier Mascherano. The Corriere dello Sport claims that the bianconeri will make the 32-year-old a priority target if, as expected, Paul Pogba leaves Turin for Manchester United. The Serie A champions have been linked with the Argentine for some time now but the possibility of him joininh up with ex-teammate Dani Alves in Turin looked remote. Now it could become a reality if the player decides to leave the Camp Nou.
Milan striker Carlos Bacca has been frozen out at Milan after turning down a move to West Ham United. The Corriere dello Sport reports that the 29-year-old’s refusal to accept an offer from the Hammers is the reason he has been left behind in Italy as the rest of the squad flew out to the US to begin their pre-season tour.
