    PSG: Thiago Silva's renewal is one of many for the club

    Thiago Silva's future had been in doubt for some time now but it now seems like he will renew his PSG deal and stay in Paris. Juventus, Milan and Barcelona had all showed some interest in him over the past few months as his PSG future wasn't clear. According to L'Equipe, Thiago Silva's renewal will be the first of many for the French club as they also intend to renew the contracts of Brazilian defender Marquinhos and Uruguay frontman Edinson Cavani.

    PSG are coming off a win versus Basel in the Champions league but are having a difficult season as they currently are third in the league standings, 3 points off Monaco and 6 points of Mario Balotelli's Nice who are first. Psg do have a game in hand as they are set to take on Rennes soon in a league game. PSG had sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic this past summer to Manchester United ...
