EXCLUSIVE: Spurs want to appoint Allegri as manager next season

Juve have earned more points than any other Serie A team in 2015, and Massimiliano Allegri deserves plenty of credit for the amazing job that he’s doing since he took over at the club after Antonio Conte’s shock exit in summer 2014.

Former Milan boss has already lifted three domestic trophies at the Stadium and the Old Lady is still in race for Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League titles this term.

Allegri is happy at the club and totally focused on Juve’s seasonal targets but it is beyond doubt that he wants a taste of Premier League football sooner or later in his career.

As calciomercato.com’s Serie A pundit Nicola Balice points out, Tottenham might offer Allegri Mauricio Pochettino’s job next season as many big teams will change their manager at the end of the current campaign.

The 48-year-old boss would be offered a three-year-contract and ‘carte blanche’ in the transfer market in order to help Spurs closing the gap on European elite.

Allegri was close to take over at Tottenham in 2014, before being appointed as Juventus’ manager.
