A Merseyside derby for Williams
According to reports from Don Balon, Liverpool and Everton are set to go head to head to try to land Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams. The 22-year-old Bilbao born player has been attracting interest from a host of clubs despite not having scored a goal for his hometown club this season.
Williams made his first-team debut for the club in December 2014 and scored his first ever goal in a Europa League tie against Torino two months later. Arsenal and Manchester City have also shown interest in the youngster but these latest reports suggest that it will be a battle between the Merseyside giants to finally land his signature.
Williams has also broke into the full Spanish national team having made his international bow in May’s 3-1 friendly defeat of Bosnia Herzegovina. A player with a bright future who looks destined to be displaying his abundant skills in the Premier League.
