Agent Gabbiadini: "He stays if no offer arrives" but Napoli insist on Icardi
Four goals against Monaco to display to Napoli that the heir to Gonzalo Higuain’s throne, may be closer to home than they think. The agent of Manolo Gabbiadini, Silvio Pagliari, spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss on his client’s future, stating that; “We have already explained that Manolo is ready to become a regular in this squad and after the departure of Higuain, I don’t see why he should leave”.
NAPOLI ALERTED
It was then put to him that if a player of the quality of Mauro Icardi arrives, then Gabbiadini would surely be surplus to requirements and could me made part of any deal that brings the 23-year-old to the club. Pagliari responded; “We’ve spoken with Napoli, we are just spectators in any possible deal with another player. If this happens then the situation would change as there would be too many strikers to keep happy”. When asked if Fiorentina was a possibility he simply replied; “We’ve never considered this”.
ICARDI SITUATION
Napoli continues in their quest to land Icardi and Corriere della Sera states that his wife and agent Wanda Nara, will meet with President De Laurentiis tomorrow. The vesuviani are ready to raise their offer from €45 million plus bonus to €55 plus bonus.
