Alex Sandro snubbed from Brazil squad once again

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is widely considered one of the best defenders in his role alongside Real Madrid’s Marcelo and Bayern Munich ace David Alaba.

The Brazilian defender has emerged as the best left-back in Serie A and one of the best in the world through some stunning performances with Juventus this term.

The former Porto man was the second choice left-back last term as Max Allegri opted to start Patrice Evra over him in most of games, but Alex Sandro is now a regular starter for the Old Lady so much so he has already registered three assist in ten appearances with the Old Lady this term.

Despite his performances, however, senior Brazil national team coach Tite has not called Alex Sandro for the next two games of the Seleçao.

Reasons behind Tite’s decision are still unknown, but what has to be taken for granted is that Allegri won’t complain for the Brazilian tactician’s choice as Alex Sandro has more time to rest this way.
