Arsenal, Leicester target Lemina has fallen out of favour at Juventus

What has happened to Mario Lemina, and what does it have to do with Juventus’ transfer policy for the upcoming January window?

Having begun the season as what appeared to be one of Max Allegri’s untouchables, the former Marseille star has since been relegated to a secondary role, a decision which seems to coincide with his sending off against Lyon in Champions League action.

Since then, he’s done very little, while his club has been involved in the race to sign - oddly enough - OL’s very own Corentin Tolisso, with Lemina being mentioned as a potential bargaining chip!

And to think that Juventus had spent 9.5 million this summer to bring the 23-year-old definitively to the J Stadium. This despite interest from Arsenal, Leicester, RB Leipzig and Schalke 04.

Having started six Serie A games to kick off the campaign, Lemina is now playing second fiddle to Claudio Marchisio (can’t argue with that) and Hernanes (not so good).

With the former Marseille man also set to represent Gabon at the African Cup of Nations, could his sale (Lemina is worth nearly €20m, but really doesn’t want to leave) help Juventus find the two midfielders Coach Allegri has been asking for?
