Chievo owner attacks Suning: 'Saying Fozza Inda not enough, at least Moratti was a fan'
“The new owners only say “Fozza Inda” [Jindong Zhang’s erroneous pronounciation of ‘Forza Inter’], while [former majority owner] Erick Thohir talks less than I do”.
Luca Campedelli’s candid interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia) isn’t a completely gratuitous attack, seeing as he himself is a fan of the Nerazzurri.
“Massimo Moratti was a fan, too. The Chinese are managers. I go to training almost every day, it’s important. Paying players’ wages isn’t enough”.
“The Chinese have the advantage of having money, but the disadvantage of being far away”.
Inter were acquired by the Suning group this summer, allowing them to invest nearly €130 million on players, including Joao Mario.
Campedelli has generally proved to be one of the more sensible and insightful Serie A owners, and has steered clear of judicial problems, to put it mildly.
