Dani Alves wants to leave, Mascherano will stay, claims Barça DS

Barcelona Sporting Director Robert Fernandez has held a press conference to comment rumours linking Dani Alves and Mascherano with a summer exit from Barcelona.

“Alves has informed us about his intension to leave the club”, Mr. Fernandez has told reporters.

“It’ s a personal choice and we are going to respect it.”

“I spoke to Javier [Mascherano] and I have no doubt that he will stay with us. He is a vital player for Barcelona.”
