Donnarumma: Berlusconi doesn’t want me getting piercings

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluig Donnarumma made his Serie A debut more than one year ago and being only 17 that’s quite an incredible achievement. The promising goalkeeper has received the 2016 Best Revelation award given by La Gazzetta dello Sport and has released an interview with the Italian paper.

The product of AC Milan academy has been asked why he doesn’t get the number one instead of the 25 and that’s what he’s replied: “I was born on the 25th of February and I made Serie A debut on the 25th of October. I have the number 25 printed everywhere also on my gloves.”

“Montella always tells me to remain humble, whilst Berlusconi doesn’t want me to get piercings or to have strange haircuts.”

“The day I made Serie A debut, Mihajlovic asked me if I was scared, I said no but I couldn’t believe what was happening and I asked his staff if I was really going to make Serie A debut.”
