EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Agent reveals L.Adriano wants to stay at Milan
The month of January was definitely a strange one for the Brazilian striker who went close to signing with Chinese side Jiangsu Suning before the deal collapsed as the club failed to give him adequate guarantees about his salary.
Rumors across the Italian media, by the way, suggest that another Chinese side want to sign the former Shakhtar Donetsk’s striker: Beijing Guoan which is currently coached by former Juventus, Milan and Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni.
Despite speculations on his future and lack of playing time, the player’s agent Gilmar Veloz seems not to be worried about the position of his client at the San Siro.
“I know nothing about new offers coming from China for him”, Mr. Veloz exclusively revealed cm.com.
“You should ask AC Milan about it, but I’ve not been informed about any offer. We don’t want to find another club, because Luiz Adriano is happy at Milan.”
“He has a long-term contract and a future negotiation concerning his exit would only depend on Milan. Luiz Adriano wants to stay.”
The Brazilian’s contract runs until 2020 and his agent has confirmed the player doesn’t want to leave Milan in the near future.
