His adventure at Marseille has started but as he prepares for his first game against bitter rivals PSG at the Parc des Princes on Sunday evening, Rudi Garcia has took a side swipe at his former employer who dismissed him in January. Speaking to L’Equipe, the Frenchman explained that; “The imposition of the athletic trainers wanted by the club has been a mistake. I hope that this does not happen anymore because if this is the case, it’s better to leave. It’s always easier to work with the people you trust”.
 

Garcia then had this to say about his contract with the giallorossi; “They hoped to be able to send me away with just a hand-shake. This was an economic issue; it’s a game of negotiations. The outcome was simple; I left with half the salary I was entitled to but I least I went away. I have been desperate to get back into work”.
