Juventus, Matuidi is still a target of the club

After selling Pogba last summer, Juventus were looking for a replacement but eventually failed to find one. They had targeted Axel Witsel of Zenit but talks broke down in the final moments with the Russian club as a deal failed to occur. Another player Juventus had been following was Blaise Matuidi of PSG. Juventus liked him a lot but in the end, PSG owner Al-Khelaifi decided to keep the french midfielder in Paris. Talks for a renewal with the club haven't led to anything serious yet and this is why Juventus would like to make another attempt for him.

They beliveve he is the perfect player for their midfield and he will be a top priority come next summer. The player currently has one and a half year left on his PSG contract, and if he does not renew his deal with the club soon, they will risk losing him for nothing in the near future. According to Tuttosport, the little time left remaining on his deal leave Juventus optimistic about a potential deal. As always , Al-Khelaifi won't be easy to negotiate with since he isn't in need of money.
