Le Parisien has been speaking to agent Mino Raiola about the situation with PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi. He explained that; “We have not yet received any proposal form the club for a new contract, when it arrives, we will then discuss it with them”. This will be good news to Juventus who are still interested in bringing the 28-year-old to Turin in January and follows on from Raiola’s recent claims that; “In January, we will do everything to bring Matuidi to Juve”.
CAVANI & THIAGO SILVA:
The journal also spoke Paulo Tonietto, the agent of Thiago Silva who declared that; “The desire for Thiago is to remain in Paris but of course, it all depends on the club. It’s important for us to have everything clarified by December because if there is no new deal with PSG, we will look elsewhere”. This also follows on from the news that Edison Cavani’s contract talks have also stalled. The Uruguayan looked set to sign an extension until 2020 but this looks to be on-hold for the time being.
