    PSG make improved offer for Juventus, Chelsea target Thiago Maia

    We had already reported that PSG have overtaken their rivals around Europe for the signing of Brazilian starlet Thiago Maia. The Ligue1 side are looking for midfield reinforcement in January and might see Blaise Matuidi leaving the Parc des Princes with Juventus interested in signing the French midfielder.

    The Serie A giants are also interested in signing Thiago Maia, but PSG are set to offer € 20 million to Santos to seal the 19-year-old midfielder. Juventus, on the other hand, are only open to offer € 10 million, making PSG the favourite club to welcome the services of the U-23 Brazil International.

    Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring the player but have failed to make an official offer at the moment.

    According to a report from Pasion Futbol in Brazil, Santos only own the 60% of Thiago Maia’s economic rights and would cash is € 12 million if they accept PSG’s latest offer.

    PSG have already finalized the deal to sign another promising South American player in January as Rosario Central Giovani Lo Celso will join the Parc des Princes in January.
