During the 2013-2014 campaign, Ciro Immobile was probably the most promising Italian striker out there as he plundered 22 goals in 33 Serie A games with Torino, becoming the Serie A top scorer.

The following summer he joined Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund who opted to sign him to substitute a certain Robert Lewandowski, who had just joined the ‘Black-and-Yellow’ hatred rivals Bayern Munich.

The product of Siena Academy, by the way, struggled to live up to expectations at the Signal Iduna Park as he only netted ten goals in all competitions, before joining La Liga side Sevilla FC at the end of last season.

The 25-year-old striker is struggling to adapt to live in Spain too as he only netted four goals thus far. Sevilla’s boss Unai Emery has excluded him from today’s game against Athletic Bilbao and rumors and speculations over his future at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan are far from being over.

Sassuolo, Sampdoria and Torino are interested in signing him in January window as they all need to add to a classic centre forward to their squads.

Could Immobile be the answer to their needs?
