EXCLUSIVE: unhappy Candreva set to leave Lazio for Inter?

Calciomercato.com can exclusively reveal that Inter want to sign Antonio Candreva in January as the Italy International is not happy anymore at the Stadio Olimpico.

No secret that the 28-year-old did not fancy the club’s decision to give the captain’s armband to Lucas Biglia at the end of last season and since then he has performed under his standards with the Biancocelesti.

The former Parma, Juventus and Cesena man has only registered one assists in eight Serie A games, but he still remains among the best Italian wingers out there.

Last year he helped Lazio to qualify for the Champions League play-off rounds scoring ten goals and registering 13 assists in Serie A, while Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito turned down Bayern Munich and Manchester United’s summer approaches extending the Biancocelesti’s star contract until 2019.

Now things have changed. Candreva is not happy more in Rome and Roberto Mancini is chasing an attacking winger who can add creativity to his team.

Although Candreva’s Lazio exit seems more likely to happen in June rather than in January, Inter will make an official approach for the player in the last few weeks.
