Inter: auction for Taider. Juve: message to Robben
During a long interview accorded to Sky Sport, Inter Milan Sports Director Piero Ausilio has released some important declarations regarding his club’s transfer market strategies: the executive has revealed that on his shortlist there are at least three names for each position and has have confirmed to be looking for a high-rated striker, but has admitted that he can’t afford players like Fernando Torres, Edin Dzeko, Mario Mandzukic or Javier Hernandez. Ausilio has also explained that the swap with Juventus regarding 30 year old forward Mirko Vucinic and 27 year old midfielder Fredy Guarin has failed for both financial and technical matters. The nerazzurri are also evaluating some possible departures, especially regarding their midfield: the contract of 32 year old Gaby Mudingayi, expiring at the end of the current season, won’t be extended, so the Belgium international will leave as a free-agent, while, accordint to Les-transferts.com, Southampton and Tottenham are interested in 21 year old Saphir Taider, who is having some difficulties in Walter Mazzarri’s team. Also Serie A defending champions Juventus are very active on the transfer market, especially regarding their team’s flank: interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bayern Munich 29 year old winger Arjen Robben has revealed that he could have joined the bianconeri two years ago, and that this latters have told him the their door will remain always open for him.
