Inter: the cost of sacking Mancini

Roberto Mancini and Inter: Yesterday saw the first (and certainly not the last) meeting between the coach and new owners Suning. It’s a situation that still has many more twists and turns where nothing can be excluded. The 52-year-old tactician wants a contract renewal and more control over the club’s transfer policy, the future is uncertain for Mancini and Inter.

    THE COST OF DISMISSAL
Mancini is not thinking of resigning from his position; he made that abundantly clear after the game against Estudiantes. La Repubblica however, believes the real reason the nerazzurri needs to keep hold of Mancini and his staff, is that any potential dismissals will cost the club dear; very dear in fact to the tune of around €14 million including all of his coaching staff. Former President Massimo Moratti wants Leonardo in charge, while in Holland the voices are calling for Frank de Boer. One thing is certain, Inter will think long and hard before replacing their current coach.
