Juventus continue to be the undisputed kings of the summer transfer window in Italy and the Old Lady has rekindled the flame for Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano.
 

According to daily newspaper Sport, a journal very close to the heart of the matter at the Camp Nou, the bianconeri have submitted another offer for the 32-year-old Argentine which has been rejected by the player. Boss Luis Enrique has assured Mascherano that he will remain one of the leaders of the team next season and to show their trust, the Catalan giants are ready to offer him an extension to his current deal. This may be one battle that Juventus won’t win.
