REPORT: PGS have met Higuain in secret, ready to offer €60m!

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic saying goodbye to PSG yesterday after a 4-2 humbling of Marseille in the Coupe de France final, the Parisian club has quite a hole to fill. Specifically, Zlatan's 51 total goals, including 38 in Ligue 1 action, an all-time record.

With Edinson Cavani leaning towards the exit door (Juventus are always there), who will the Parisians go for? How about French passport holder Gonzalo Higuain, who was born in Brest back in the days when his father was playing for the Bretons?

Le Parisien exclusively reveals that PSG director of sport Olivier Letang has already met Higuain, a rendez-vous that has remained a secret until now. Letang impressed Higuain by expressing both the club's interest and telling him what the Parisians' strategy for the next few years is.

Higuain's brother has also visited the capital and visited the team's facilities. PSG are said to be willing to offer €60 million, lower than the €94m required to buy out El Pipita's contract.
