Aleñá, 18, is being playing for Barcelona’s academy since he’s seven. He used to have two small goals in his garden at home, where he practiced before entering the club’s Masia. Today he’s the best prospect of Barcelona’s academy and is impressing under with Barcelona B squad coached by former Valencia midfielder Gerard.

The 18-year-old promise is not only good at technical things, like his idol Iniesta, but has also a huge personality which has helped him to gain the U-19 Spain team’s captain armband. Aleñá had also featured with Spain U-16 and U-17 squads.

He scored six goals in eight games in last year’s edition of UEFA Youth League, finding the net of the goal also against AS Roma primavera with a stunning solo goal that you can watch below.

Aleñá has recently gained promotion to senior squad even if his only appearance with Barcelona senior team is the friendly game played against Celtic last summer. Waiting for his first official appearance with the senior squad, Aleñá is training with his idols, dreaming of becoming the next Iniesta.
