Emery on the brink, Roberto Mancini linked with PSG job

Former Inter boss Roberto Mancini is being linked with the PSG job to replace under fire boss Unai Emery who has been criticized by media and fan as his PSG side have been struggling to impress so far this season.

The Spanish manager arrived in Paris this past summer to take over the Ligue1 giants from Laurent Blanc, but the first four months of his era have not leaded the club to the positive results expected by owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

PSG sit third in the Ligue1 table, four points behind table leaders OGC Nice that held the Ligue1 defending champions to a home 2-2 draw yesterday. The Ligue1 giants have also qualified to the Champions League knock-out stage in second position after their away draw to Ludogorets in the last matchday of the group stage.

Due to this season’s disappointing results, Le Parisien believes that Emery’s PSG future is on the brink and that the French side are considering replacing the Spanish tactician with Roberto Mancini who had already been linked with the PSG job in the past.
