James Rodriguez will be staying at Real Madrid, says Zidane
Linked with moves to Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United and PSG, the Colombian International struggled with game time under the French manager last term, which is why he is linked with leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
“I don’t want him to go”, Zidane told journalists.
“He’s a player of Real Madrid. I know he’d like to play more games, but he knows he has to carry on working hard to achieve what he wants. I hope I can deploy him more frequently next season, but I always ask the best to each one of my players.”
“I have 25 players, so I’ve nothing against him. He’s not the only one asking for more game time.”
