EPL club prepares €9.6m offer for promising Sampdoria defender

According to a number of reports, Sampdoria and Leicester are in talks over three players who could play a key role in the second half of 2015/2016.

First on the list is Pedro Pereira, the 17-year-old Portuguese talent who has started regularly for the Bluecerchiati this season, and who could be sold for nearly 100 times the price if Il Secolo XIX is to be believed.

Spotted by Sampdoria's shrewd talent scout Riccardo Pecini (who heads the club's youth setup) and brought in for €100.000, Pereira is now reportedly  the object of a €9.6 million offer from the Foxes, who could be tempted to move in quickly to beat out the competition or, alternatively, try to wait it out and hope the price tag lowers.

Sampdoria could be tempted by the sum to reinvest in the market, and are very interested in three Foxes, though Gokhan Inler is considered to be too expensive. Yohan Benalouane and Andrej Kramaric could, however, be within their budget.

Sampdoria are expecting an answer regarding the former Atalanta defender in the next few hours, whilst Kramaric is wanted by a number of clubs, including Torino, who would be able to offer him more playing time than what he is currently getting at the Walkers Stadium.

Who would replace Pereira? Dodò, Strinic and Nagatomo are on Sampdoria's wishlist.
