Memphis Depay: Man Utd outcast tops AS Roma shopping list
The Dutch winger is going to leave the Old Trafford in the incoming transfer window, frustrated by lack of game time under José Mourinho. Wanted by the Special One’s predecessor Louis Van Gaal, Depay has only played 134 minutes spread onto eight appearances with the Red Devils so far this season.
AS Roma star and former Chelsea man Mohammed Salah will be playing the African Cup on nations with Egypt in January and the Serie A giants are considering signing Depay as a replacement for the former Fiorentina star.
The giallorossi could offer Depay to join them on loan with option to buy. Manchester United are open to sell the player either on loan or on a permanent deal in January, but there are many clubs that have been scouting Depay of late. Marseille, Inter, Juventus and AC Milan are among them.
