Napoli: done for Reveillere. Juventus: Menez farther

As reported yesterday, 34 year old full back Anthony Reveillere, free agent since last summer, when his contract with Lyon had expired, was about to join Napoli; now the signing of the Frenchman has become official, as the azzurri’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has announced through his Twitter profile that the player has signed a one-season deal; Reveillere will replace 27 year old Pablo Armero and same-aged Juan Camilo Zuniga, both injured. This latter, perhaps, as reported by Punto Pelota, remains a Real Madrid target. Now Napoli can focus on the Winter transfer window: the azzurri are seeking an external midfielder, but, as reported by The Sun, to obtain one of their main targets, Benfica 25 year old Nemanja Matic, will have to compete with Manchester United. Still according to English rumours, Napoli, as well as Inter Milan, are keen on Southampton 22 year old attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez, who seems intended to leave the Saints in January.

Also Serie A defending champions Juventus are seeking a skilled player, but one of their main targets, Paris Saint-Germain 26 year old winger Jeremy Menez, could finally extend his deal with the French club, as revealed by his current coach Laurent Blanc. Moreover, interviewed by EuropaCalcio.it, Marcelo Simonian, agent of Valencia 25 year old midfielder Ever Banega, has declared that many clubs are interested in his client, but that it’s too early to talk about a possible departure.
