REPORT: Fiorentina closing in on a deal for Uruguayan starlet
Schetino is a physically strong defensive midfielder and is reported to have put pen to paper on a five year contract with the current Serie A leaders.
The 21-year-old has dual Uruguayan-Italian citizenship and has registered two assists in the first eleven Primera Division games this term.
Despite both Fiorentina and Centro Atletico Fenix have still not confirmed the deal, the South American papers are pretty sure that Schetino will wear the Viola shirt starting from next January or from the beginning of next season.
