Sporting President on Inter target Joao Mario: 'We can't force anyone to stay"

Inter could well be landing Joao Mario after all, if Sporting's president is anything to go by.

"We're open to interesting offers," Bruno De Carvalho told Sporting's own TV channel, "the best deals are made when need isn't a key factor".

The Lions want Inter to pay the €60 million release clause in the 23-year-old's deal, but look to be easing up. The midfielder didn't train with his team today, despite Sporting facing Maritimo to open the new Liga Sagres season this weekend.

"Clubs aren't made to keep players forever, it's not in our plans, we don't need to.

"Just like any other club, we're willing to talk and negotiate, we can't force anyone to stay".

Coppa al PSG, l'Inter non ha neanche giocato: più che una manita una manata che fa male. Malissimo
