    Zamparini wants to sell Palermo

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini wants to sell the club to a foreign investors, the Italian entrepeneur told Radio Rai on Monday.

“I’ve looking for potential investors over the last two years now. I am 75 now and I want to sell the club. Meantime, I am trying to manage the club as good as I can. We are at the bottom of the table, but we’ll get over it.”

“De Zerbi is a very good manager who doesn’t know the league yet. We didn’t deserve to lose against Milan and I didn’t see a 20 points difference yesterday. Palermo will be competitive again after the break.”

“There have been much more important families than mine to have sold their clubs. From Moratti to Berlusconi, they decided to sell their clubs to foreign investors.”

“Football is going where money goes. Chinese, American and Arab investors are managing big clubs European clubs now.”

“I’ve been in talks with a Chinese consortium for five months, I want to sell Palermo.”
