    Chelsea to make offer for Arsenal top target

    The injury of Per Mertesaker has forced Arsene Wenger to have a look around Europe, looking for a reliable centre-back who can fill the boots of the German defender during his time out of the pitch. The Gunners have reportedly set sights on Valencia centre-back Shkordan Mustafi, who, however, has also attracted the interest of Chelsea’s hatred rivals Chelsea.

    According to various reports in Britain, Conte has tabled an offer of € 30 million for the Germany International who had been also on Juventus’ shortlist before the arrival of Medhi Benatia.

    Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and AS Roma’s Kostas Manolas are also on Antonio Conte’s shopping list even if both Serie A clubs have no interest in selling their stars. At least for now.
