Juventus interested in Real fullback Danilo

Remember when rival fans were mocking Juventus for having spent 25 million or so on Alex Sandro?

You don't hear them much now, do you?

In fact, the The Bianconeri are, according to our sources, very interested in signing Danilo, who has been having a tough time of it in Madrid. Whilst Daniel Carvajal has been monopolizing the right, the former Santos player has mostly been bench material, thus attracting the interest of a number of European clubs, including Juventus.

The 24-yer-old has made 21 Liga BBVA appearances this season, scoring twice.

The Bianconeri have long been enthusiastic about the Brazilian full-back, scouting him back in the days when he was a Santos player.

Back then, however, Danilo chose to sign with Porto, who would then sell him on to Real Madrid for 31.5 million.

Could Juve further enrich their squad, providing a long-term backup to Stephan Lichtsteiner? Stranger things have happened...
