New Inter CEO: Candidates who could replace Bolingbroke

Inter have sacked their CEO Michael Bolingbroke. The former Manchester United executive was not involved by Suning in negotiations to hire the new manager, suggesting that Bolingbroke was not part of the club’s long-term plans anymore.

The Serie A giants released an official statement yesterday, announcing the Brit’s farewell, even if Bolingbroke is not directly mentioned in Suning’s announcement.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Suning owner Zhang Li and his son Steven are going to replace Bolingbroke with one of their closest partners.

The Italian paper claims that either Yang Yang or Liu Jun could replace Bolingbroke becoming Inter’s new CEO.
They are both credible candidates to pick up the baton of Bolingbroke even if Yang Yang seems the most likely one as he has already taken part to some decisions of the club and gave a quick speech during the last shareholders’ meeting when both him and other representatives of the club confirmed their trust in De Boer, just three days before sacking the Dutchman as Inter boss.
