PAPER TALK: Fabregas offered to Juventus, Joao Mario set for Inter medical
Former Juventus boss Antonio Conte has successfully persuaded the Old Lady’s target Nemanja Matic to stay at Chelsea but, according to Tuttosport, has offered his old club the services of Cesc Fabregas.
Juventus would need an investment of € 45 million, with this fee that would include the player’s price-tag as well as the € 7 million salary which is Fabregas’ current wages at Chelsea.
Joao Mario is another midfielder whose name is very much talked this summer. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , the nerazzurri have reached agreement with the player and his club and the Portugal International might undergo medical with the Serie A giants on Monday.
Inter will pay € 10 million for the player’s season loan, making Joao Mario’s switch permanent next season for € 35 million. The 23-year-old midfielder will sign a five-year; € 3 million deal (five times more than what he’s getting at Sporting).
Arsenal target Marcelo Brozovic could be the player that Inter will sacrifice in order to stick to FFP rules and finance the arrival of Joao Mario. The Croatia International is on the market, but there are not offers for him at the moment.
